Parts & Tools

Parts Needed:

-          (1) 45 gallon plastic barrel (ask around at your local food producers, and you can easily get one for free)

-          (1) 3 & ½ foot x ¾ inch galvanized tube with threaded ends

-          (4) 3 foot long 2x4’s

-          (2) 8 inch 2x4’s

-          (1) long and skinny piece of scrap wood for latches and handles (5 feet will be plenty)

-          (2) ¾ inch floor ganges (the ones with 4 screw holes are the best- check your local plumbing store)

-          (2) 1 ¼ inch close nipples –see fig. 1

-          (4) 1 ¼ inch galvanized lock nut –see fig. 2

-          (8) 3 inch wood screws

-          (2) 5 inch bolts with washer and nut

-          (2) stainless steel hinges

-          (12) 2 inch bolts with nuts

-          2 feet of galvanized hardware cloth –1/4 inch squares- see fig. 3

-          6-8 zip ties

Tools Needed: Hand Jigsaw, Philips screw driver, hand saw, drill, pliers or ratchet.
